Kim Cunningham: Director

Mahopac High School Graduate 2011
Undergrad- St. Thomas Aquinas College Graduate 2015 
Masters- Mercy College Graduate 2018 

Kim Cunningham played lacrosse at Mahopac High School. She went on to play lacrosse at a division 2 school  at St. Thomas Aquinas College. Kim became the Mahopac Varsity Assistant Coach for 4 years. She then went on to coach the K/1/2 team at Mahopac, the 7/8th grade team at Somers and the HS team on Westchester Warriors for many years. She has a love for the game, building character and lacrosse IQ on the lacrosse field. 
Maribeth Linares: HS Coach

She Played 4 years at Fox Lane High School, was all-section player. She played division 1 lacrosse at University of Delaware for two years.  Maribeth was the JV coach for Fox Lane in 1997, the JV coach at Algonquin High School in MA 1998-1999, JV coach for Byram Hills 2000-2001 and the Byram Hills, Varsity head  from 2002-2004. Maribeth is currently assisting with running the Somers Youth Girls Lacrosse programs and coaching the 5/6 and 7/8 youth teams. She has a love for the game of woman’s lacrosse and a passion for helping, guiding, and assisting young athletes to excel to their true potential.

 

Diana Good: Head 3/4 coach

Diana has been with Westchester Warriors for the past four years. She graduated from Mahopac High School in 2017, then went on to play club lacrosse at SUNY Cortland to obtain a bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education. She is currently in a graduate program at Manhattanville College studying Literacy (B-grade 6). She is so excited for this summer lax season!

Meghan Condon: 5/6 Assistant Coach

Meghan has played lacrosse for 9 years and has spent the past 2 years on John Jay CR’s  varsity lacrosse team. She has helped to coach John Jay Youth Lacrosse at all levels (K- 8). In her junior season (2022) she received all league honors. In addition to lacrosse Meghan plays for John Jay CR’s varsity field hockey team and coaches for the youth program. She received all league honors in her junior season (2021) as well. Meghan shares her love of the sport by spreading her knowledge and working growing the game of lacrosse.

Erica Cosentino: Head 5/6 Coach

 

Erica is a Mahopac Alum and played lacrosse for King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She spent four years coaching for Stamford Youth Association before joining the Somers youth lacrosse program. Erica joined the coaching staff for Westchester Warriors in 2020. She is the Digital Marketing Manager for a company in Norwalk, CT. She has two kids (Brynn and Jackson), an avid runner and Orange Theory enthusiast. 

 

Elyse Macchi: Head 7/8 Coach

Elyse is a Somers lacrosse alumni and was recognized as an All League Honorable Mention in 2011. She then went on to play club at the State University of New York at Cortland. She has been a head coach for the Somers youth program since 2019 and this will be her third year as a warriors coach. 

Elyse teaches Kindergarten in Tarrytown and was recently married this past September. She is excited to be coaching the 7/8 warriors this year! 

Marissa Staffu: Assistant JV

Marissa started playing lacrosse in 5th grade and played at Lakeland High School. She then went on to play at Western New England University for 4 years. Currently she is in grad school studying School Psychology and was the assistant varsity coach at Byram Hills High School.

 

Lauren Romano: Assistant 3/4 coach

Lauren played lacrosse at Nanuet High School in Rockland County and then continued to play lacrosse in college at SUNY Cortland. She then helped to start a lacrosse program in Valhalla.  Lauren started the program as a modified team, finally building it up to the Varsity level. She continued to coach JV lacrosse at Valhalla until her oldest daughter was born.  Now Lauren is an active member of the Somer Youth Girls Lacrosse Community, she coaches 3/4 and is on the board. She am looking forward to coaching for Westchester Warriors.
